<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has announced complete lockdown in the state from Monday. The total lockdown will come into effect from 10th of this month at 6 am and will continue till 6 am on 24th of May. He said, the stringent measure has been taken as the Covid deaths in the state is increasing day by day.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp; </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A window is created between 6 am and 10 am for the public to purchase essential items. Hotels can allow the parcel service for the public. Bar and restaurants and industries will be closed. The Chief Minister said that after 10 am, the movement of vehicles and people will be completely banned. Metro rail and public transport will not operate. He however, said that construction work may continue if the labourers are working at the site. Inter-district travel has been banned. Only 50 people will be allowed in marriages.</span><br />
