Karnataka Agriculture Minister B C Patil today warned black marketeers responsible for creating artificial shortage of fertilisers in the state.<br />'' <br />''The minister issued a warning also to those inflating rates of the fertilisers. <br />''<br />''Speaking during a Press Conference in Bengaluru today, he said the Central Government has supplied 68000 metric tonne additional consignment of Urea this year. <br />'' <br />''Giving figures for August, the minister said that out of 1,77,000 tonne of Urea in demand, 49,749 tonne is supplied, 19,305 tonne is under supply and arrangements are on to procure 1, 22,446 metric tonne urea.<br />'' <br />''He added that there is no shortage of urea in the state and the Central Government is ready to supply more on demand.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">During this monsoon, the state has 57.12 lakh hectares area under sowing which is 8.51 lakh hectares more than the previous season.</span><br />
