Karnataka Minister for Rural Development K. S. Eshwarappa has informed that the state has achieved a progress of 71.68 per cent in the implementation of MGNREGA scheme.<br />'' <br />''Addressing media persons in Bengaluru today, he said that a goal of creating 13 crore man-days was set during 2020-21 and till date 9.32 crore man-days are created.<br />'' <br />''During the current year, the state has spent 3,155 crore rupees under the programme, out of which 2,493 crore rupees are towards wages. <br />'' <br />''Under the programme, 44.86 lakh people were given employment which is highest in the last five years. As on now, 8.34 lakh works are under progress creating assets like creation of civic amenities, kitchen garden and bathroom pit in the villages.<br />'' <br />''The Minister further said that under the Central Government's Svamitva Yojana, mapping of revenue land has gained momentum using drone technology.<br />'' <br />''He said, this has helped resolve land disputes and enable upkeep of transparent land records.<br />'' <br />''The programme was launched as a pilot project in Kailancha Hobli and Magadi Kasaba Hobli of Ramanagara district and the physical distribution of property cards to the beneficiaries has started.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said that in the recent future property cards will be distributed in Mysuru, Hassan, Belagavi and Tumkuru where 763 villages of 10 Gram Panchayats will be given the property cards.</span><br />
