<span style="color: #222222;">In Karnataka, a 17 year old boy and his 15 year old sister died when a house collapsed at Bandlaguda in Dakshina Kannada District due to heavy rain in the Coastal belt of the state today.&nbsp; </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Three houses have collapsed and the bodies caught under the debris were removed. The government has announced an ex-gratia of 5 lakh rupees each to the deceased.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Deputy Commissioner Rupesh Sindhu said&nbsp; that while&nbsp; most of the occupants of the three houses escaped unhurt as they rushed out as soon as the landslide occurred, the&nbsp; two children were asleep and thus were trapped. She said that inmates of about 14 houses were moved to safer places.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The bodies were recovered from the debris after three hours rescue operation by the NDRF. District Incharge Minister Kote Srinivasa Poojari&nbsp; visited the spot and said that all inmates in the houses on hills will be shifted.&nbsp; Police Commissioner visited the spot and supervised the rescue operation with Fire Brigade and NDRF staff.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
