Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister Suresh Kumar has informed that 10 out of 30 districts in the state are declared no-virus districts and four districts are free from virus for over 20 days. Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru yesterday, he said, 13,617 persons are under observation for the symptoms of COVID 19 virus. The minister noted that those above 55 years of age with co-morbidity are fatal to the corona virus and hence the health department is planning to launch a comprehensive medical check up of senior citizens as a preventive measure. The minister informed that an ICMR team will visit COVID 19 hotspots of Bengaluru, Kalburgi and Chitradurga to carry out extensive tests for strengthening the local level assessment to fight the spread of virus.  He further said that Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike has launched the Containment Incident Command system in 19 containment zones in Bengaluru.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, under this system, Incident Commanders are appointed for each containment zone with magisterial powers. They are assisted by Police and Health workers. Special care is being taken in these zones for medical check-up, monitoring, garbage disposal, supply of essential commodities to people living in these zones who are not allowed to come out of their houses. The pandemic among the employees of Jubilant Life Sciences Pharmaceutical company in Nanjangudu has spiked to 69. Resulting which 2098 people have been quarantined. Out of 1960 samples tested for the viral infection, 1891 have been found negative and 138 test sample results are awaited. <br />''  <br />
