<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa inducted 10 Ministers into his cabinet today. Governor Vajubhai Vala administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers at Rajbhavan in Bengaluru. The 10 MLAs who were inducted today are those who defected from Congress and JD(S) and won the by-election on BJP ticket. This has taken the cabinet size from 18 to 28.<br />''<br />''The sanctioned strength of the cabinet is 34. Chief Minister Yediyurappa had stated earlier that BJP MLA Mahesh Kumathalli, who defected from Congress and missed out on cabinet berth today, will be given some other big responsibility.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa today inducted as promised the 10 defectors who were instrumental in bringing BJP to power in Karnataka. During the by-election held in December, BJP won 12 of the 15 seats thereby taking its strength from 105 to 117 in the House strength of 224. Congress strength was reduced to 68 and JD(S) to 34. The Chief Minister still has the task to accommodate other defectors who were defeated in the by-election and aspirants from BJP into the Cabinet. There are still six vacant positions in the cabinet.</span><br />
