<span style="color: #222222;">In Karnataka, 10th and 12th standard students attended school in good numbers on the second day of opening of schools today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Primary and Secondary Education department has informed that on the second day of opening of schools, 33 percent of 12th class students and over 45 percent of students in the 10th standard attended the schools today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The minister for Primary and Secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar visited schools and interacted with the teachers and parents.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking to media persons later, he said, the arrangements made for the safety of the children to prevent viral infection were found satisfactory by the parents.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He added that children and parents have welcomed the decision of the department to commence 10th and 12th standard classes which have board exams at the end of the academic year.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He expressed happiness over the interest shown by parents and children with respect to students attending classes in person.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also appreciated children for voluntarily keeping social distance and wearing masks while attending the classes.</span><br />''  <br />
