The Justice B K Somasekhara Commission, which was set up to inquire into the attack on churches in Karnataka, today submitted its report to the government. After submitting the report to the Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in Bangalore, Justice Somsekhara released the summary of the report to the media. He said that the Commission had come to a conclusion that neither the ruling BJP or Sangh Parivar Member were involved in the incidents of attack. The Commission has also strongly recommended for legislation against any kind of religious conversions. The Commission has received more than 1000 memoranda from the people, organisations and the state government. The Commission had more than 300 sittings and recorded over 800 witnesses before submitting its report to the government.
