In Jammu and Kashmir, Kargil Srinagar National Highway has been closed for traffic due to heavy rain fall and sliding at various places on the High way from Zero point to Captain Morh. The whole Kargil district has experienced heavy rain fall and snow fall from the last five days. Farmers has incurred heavy lose of apricot in Production as the rain and snow has damaged the apricot flower. This snow fall has dipped the minimum tempters below zero degrees Celsius. <br/> <br/>Deputy SP Kargil Ravender Pal Singh told AIR Correspondent that 200 passengers and 100 drivers were stranded at Drass and about 200 passengers and drivers were stranded at Sonamarg. He said that due avalanches at various places from Zero Point to Captain Morh the road will be closed for at least three days subject to weather condition and he further said that Clearance work has been started from today morning. <br/> <br/>Meanwhile Zanskar has recoded about more than 1.5 ft snow fall during these five days and is still continuing which has disturbed and stopped the snow clearance work at Kargil Zanskar road from both side.<br/><br/>
