<span style="color: #222222;">In Kargil, electricity supply from Biaras hydro project and Chilong hydro project was disrupted following protest by the employees of these two power plants.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The employees were demanding release of their dues which are pending for the last one year. However, protesting employees resumed their duties and electricity supply was restored from both the installations after an assurance for early redressal of their demand by Project Director of Kargil Renewable Energy Development Agency.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that Biaras hydro project is one of the most successful projects in India which supplied electricity even when the temperature dipped below -43 degree. Biaras hydro project is feeding power to all the villages of Upper Drass while Chilong is supplying electricity to all the villages of Tai Suru area.</span><br />
