Kargil District Olympic Association under the chairmanship of General Secretary Syed Mehraj Shah called a condolence meeting and paid condolence to Late Akshay Kumar, founder & former General Secretary Ice Hockey Association of India at TFC Kargil.
 
They paid condolence by observing 2 minutes silence, by all the members present on this occasion and termed the loss of Akshay Kumar as great setback to Adventure Sports and Tourism in the country.
 
Kumar was very active person in Adventure Sports and always promoted Kargil in Adventure Sports as well as promotion of winter tourism in Kargil Ladakh.
