In Kargil, to effectively monitor the nutrition levels in children, pregnant women and lactating mothers, CDPO Tai Suru Parveen Akhtar distributed smart phones among Anganwadi workers under POSHAN Abhiyan from Karpokhar to Rangdum. The CDPO said, the initiative of distribution of smart phones among the workers has been taken under Poshan Abhiyan. Poshan Abhiyan is a multi-ministerial convergence mission and it's aimed is to reduce the level of stunting, under nutrition, anemia and low birth weight babies.<br />''<br />''The official said, it is also aimed to enable growth monitoring of children with the help of auto plotting of growth charts, auto generate task list and home visit schedule.
