The death toll in the Karachi building collapse has gone up to 18, as rescue teams recovered six more bodies from the debris. Rescuers are still looking for survivors trapped under the rubble on the third consecutive day today. Deputy Commissioner, South, Mustafa Jamal Qazi said three owners of the building had been taken into custody. Three surrounding buildings have also been evacuated as a precautionary measure, he added.
