Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Kapil Sibbal says, steps have been taken to fill vacancies for visually challenged persons in various departments in his ministry. He was addressing a function of National Federation of Blind in New Delhi today.

Expressing Government's commitment to the welfare of the disabled persons he said, similar steps are also being taken up other ministries.
