Union Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Kapil Sibal will give away the Web Ratna Awards at a function in New Delhi on Monday. The awards, instituted by the National Informatics Centre, is aimed at promoting innovative e-Governance initiatives. According to Union IT Secretary, J Satyanarayana, the awards will give due recognition to exemplary efforts at harnessing the web medium.
