India has declared its second innings after taking a strong lead of 433 runs on the fourth day of the first cricket test against New Zealand in Kanpur. Hosts were at 377 runs for 5 wickets with Rohit Sharma's 68 and Ravindra Jadeja's 50 runs. Ajinkya Rahane scored 40 runs while Early morning today, Cheteshwar Pujara departs after a brilliant 78.Earlier, New Zealand who started the day with 152 for 1 were all out for 262. Ravindra Jadeja claimed five wickets for 73 while Ravichandran Ashwin claimed 4 wickets for 93. The hosts were all out for 318 in their first innings.This Test marks a major milestone as India is playing its 500th Test. India has start the series just one point behind Pakistan, and they are hopeful of returning to number one before Pakistan play three Tests against the West Indies in October and November.
