One of the main accused in the 2000 Kanpur bomb blast case has been arrested from Mumbai in a joint operation of Anti Terrorist Squads of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh police. He has been identified as Mohammed Asar Haroon Siddiqui and will be produced before a local court on Saturday. AIR correspondent reports that two persons were killed in two bomb blasts on Kanpur-Jhansi rail section near Govindpuri railway station in Kanpur in the month of September 2000.
