Kannada Matinee idol Dr. Vishnuvardhan died of severe heart attack in Mysore on Wednesday. The veteran actor who ruled over the hearts of many Kannadigas was instrumental in nurturing Kannada film industry along with late Dr. Rajkumar during 70s and 80s. Dr. Vishnuvardhan has acted in over 190 films and won five film fare awards and many state awards. Born in 1950 in Mysore the superstar of Kannada films entered the film world through Vamsha Vruksha, but he came to limelight by acting in landmark film Nagarahavu. Karnataka which lost popular singer Dr. C Aswath was shocked by the death of another luminary Dr. Vishnuvardhan today.<br/>
