DMK member Kanimozhi today expressed serious concern over the alleged rape of a four year girl in a slum in Delhi yesterday. She asked the government to look into the matter. Raising the issue in the Rajya Sabha, she alleged that such incidents are taking place all over the country, which is a cause of concern.<br/><br/>Jaya Bachchan of Samajwadi Party described the incident as terrible. She demanded a discussion in the House. Deputy Chairman P J Kurien directed the government to ensure stringent punishment to the accused. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the government condemns such incident and said, action would be taken against the guilty.
