Ms. Kanimozhi, DMK Member of Parliament and daughter of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Mr. M. Karunanidhi today appeared before Income Tax authorities in Chennai in response to summons issues by the department. Ms. Kanimozhi appeared before Vidya Ramachandran, Joint Director (Investigations) and is reported to have given some clarifications on her Income and wealth details which she had furnished in 2007. Ms. Kanimozhi had already appeared before the Enforcement Directorate in Delhi in connection with the 2G spectrum case.
