The three-member Central team of the BJP which visited Kandhamal to probe the alleged crossfire between security forces and Maoists which claimed five innocent lives on July 8, submitted its report to party national president Amit Shah. <br/><br/>Quoting BJP sources AIR correspondent reports that the team suggests to probe the matter by the National Commission for Women and a sitting Judge of the Orissa High Court.<br/><br/>Last week, BJP national vice-President Vinay Sahasrabuddhe who led the team, including party general secretaries Ramvichar Netam and Jyoti Dhurve, visited Gumudumaha village in the Kandhamal district and said the State Government had failed to give justice to the people of the backward region.<br/><br/>The five persons were shot at by the Special Operation Group (SOG) jawans while they were travelling in an auto-rickshaw at Gumutmaha village in a dense forest area under Tumudibandha police station jurisdiction in Kandhamal district. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, a Special Investigation Team of the State Human Rights Protection Cell has already started probe into the incident.
