Union Minister for Urban Development Kamal Nath today said that members of Parliament will have a greater say in implementation of various schemes of Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission. Stressing on the need for substantive reforms in Urban Local Bodies , he said that some of the reforms in the first Phase of the Mission requires greater involvement of people’s representatives. He also said that adequate focus will be given to non-metro cities with more than one lakh inhabitants in the second face.
