Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath has said that the government wants the normal functioning of the Rajya Sabha. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr Nath said he met the Rajya Sabha Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari in this regard. He said the government will accept whatever decision the Chairman takes on the matter.
