Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath said all efforts are being taken to ensure that the Telangana bill is passed in the Lok Sabha today.

He said it is for the speaker to decide on how to deal with the possible disruptions in the House.

Talking to media persons outside Parliament, Kamal Nath said all parties who are not supporting the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill are free to voice their concerns on the floor.

He said at the end, it is the voting that decides. The Parliamentary Affairs minister said the issue cannot be decided on the streets.
