<span style="color: #222222;">The thespian Kamal Haasan has said, his party, the Makkal Neethi Mayyam is prepared to contest the forthcoming bye-elections to all twenty Assembly seats in Tamil Nadu.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on his birthday on Wednesday in Chennai, Mr Hassan said he would try to sanitize the electoral system by doing away with graft for votes.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He remarked that he is a political tool of the people and denied that he is playing into the hands of any other party.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Election Commission is expected to announce the schedule for the bye-elections any time for the twenty seats that have fallen vacant.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The vacancies arose due to the disqualification of 18 AIADMK MLAs loyal to the ousted leader TTV Dhinakaran and the demise of two other legislators including the DMK patriarchal leader M Karunanidhi.</span><br />
