In Himachal Pradesh, Union Minister of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Kalraj Mishra laid the foundation stone of Technology Centre at Bhatoli Kalan village in Baddi area of Solan district on Saturday.Upon completion of centre Himachal would get a big boost to meet its tooling requirement within the state in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector.Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was also present on the occasion.This modern technology centre would be first of its kind in the state and more than 102 Crore Rupees would be spent on it.About One hundred bigha land has been provided by the state government to set up this centre on lease hold for a period of 95 years on nominal rent to the ministry.The centre would be run by the ministry and it would fulfill the technical requirement of the General Engineering Industry.
