Kalka Mail accident : death toll rises to 66

The death toll in yesterday's Kalka Mail accident in Uttar Pradesh, has gone up to 66. Thirty dead-bodies have been identified so far. Central Railway Spokes-person told AIR Correspondent that rescue work at the accident site is almost complete. About 250 passengers were injured and admitted to different hospitals in Fetehpur, Kanpur and Allahabad. More than 25 trains were diverted today and eight trains have been cancelled so far. Since yesterday, more than 35 trains have been cancelled. The rail traffic may be restored from tomorrow.
