Kali puja is being celebrated today in West Bengal and other parts of the country. Large number of community poojas have been organised through out the State. People from all walks of life are visiting Kalighat and Dakshineswar temples in Kolkata since morning. The State Government has made elaborate security arrangements to maintain law and order. State Administration has banned use of high sound, fire crackers to curb sound pollution. Fire Services Department has also made special arrangements to meet any eventuality.
