Former President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam will inaugurate the two-day Southern Regional Science Congress, beginning in Coimbatore from December 15.

With the central theme of Science for Shaping the future of India, nearly 500 scientists, 200 delegates and 1,000 students, including budding scientists across the Country, would participate in the conference, which was being held in commemoration of the Centenary Celebrations of the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA).
