In Tamilnadu, the CBI today raided the office of a private TV channel,Kalaignar TV in Chennai this morning. Earlier on Wednesday, the CEO Sarath Kumar said in a statement that the transaction between Mumbai based firm Cine yug and Kalaignar TV was transparent and the CBI and it officials are free to visit the channels office and verify the records.The cineyug had advanced a loan of 200 crore to the channel but the money was returned with an interest of 31 crores after misunderstanding arose over the prizing of the channels shares.
