Noble laureate Kailash Satyarthi said that his organization Kailash Satyarthi Children Foundation will launch campaign for the uplift of 100 million deprived children. Delivering the K K Handiqui memorial lecture in Guwahati this evening, he appealed youth to be the part of his campaign.<br/><br/>He stressed on optimal use of social media for the protection of children. Addressing the gathering amid accolades, Satyarthi said that young people of the North East must be respected in the country. Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said that state government has adopted schemes to rehab children who had to suffer due to conflicts. The lecture was organized by the K K Handiqui State Open University on the occasion of 117th birth anniversary of great scholar K K Handiqui.
