Kailash Satyarthi, Malala Yousafzai to receive Nobel Peace Prize today

Nobel Peace Prize will be formally conferred upon India's Kailash Satyarthi and Pakistan's Malala Yousafzai today at an award ceremony in Oslo, Norway. Speaking at a joint press conference with Malala on the eve of the award ceremony, the Child rights activist Mr Satyarthi yesterday said, the Nobel peace prize gives them tremendous opportunity in their fight and struggle for children's rights. He said, even if one single child is in danger then the entire world is in danger. He further said, the prize is very important for millions of children who have been denied their childhood and urged people to work for children who are denied this freedom. Describing Malala as his daughter, Mr Satyarthi said, she is the bravest child one can think of. On the occasion, Ms Malala said that education is not restricted to a group, it's essential for everyone and it is a necessity of life.
