In Himachal Pradesh, the fast track court in Dharamshala on Friday started hearing on appeal against the bail order of four accused in the Aman Kachroo ragging case. The hearing was taken up by the fast track court after the high court issued notices to the state and four accused who were granted bail. The decision on the bail is expected by this evening. The High Court has already fixed the next hearing on the case for tomorrow in Shimla after taking suo motu notice of the developments in the Aman kachroo ragging case. The fast court has granted bail to the four accused on the grounds that statements of the witnesses had been recorded and material evidence taken into account. The granting of bail to the four accused led to strong reaction in the media and from the family of Aman Kachroo in particular who termed it as a big blow to the anti ragging campaign in the country.
