In the Kabaddi World Cup at Ahmedabad, India is back on winning note as it thumped Australia 54 to 20 in a Pool-A match last night. India dominated proceedings from the first whistle and inflicted all-outs on as many as four occasions.Such was India's dominance that Australia were not able to get a tackle point. With a win and a loss India sits on top of Pool A. India next plays Bangladesh on Tuesday. The team needs to win all their remaining matches to advance to the semis. Earlier, in the opening match, India were stunned by South Korea in a close contest, 32 to 34.Meanwhile in other encounters yesterday, England lost to Bangladesh with a huge margin 18 to 52 in Pool A, while Poland was beaten by Kenya 48 to 54 in a Pool B match.Twelve Kabaddi teams from around the world including India, Iran, Bangladesh, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Argentina, US, England, Australia, Poland, and Kenya are participating in the event. The final will be played on 22nd of this month.
