Infosys has announced the appointment of veteran banker K V Kamath as its Chairman in place of founder N R Narayana Murthy. It also named current CEO S Gopalakrishnan as Co-Chairman. The INFOSYS Board appointed Murthy as Chairman Emeritus for life.The appointments come in to effect from August 21 this year, a day after Murthy retires when he will turn 65.
