Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. K. Rosiah will be sworn in as the 24th Governor of Tamilnadu on Wednesday. The Chief Justice of Madras High Court Justice M.Y. Eqbal will administer the oath of office to him at a ceremony in the evening. The present Governor Mr.Surjeet Singh Barnala in his farewell message said that the State of Tamilnadu symbolizes peace and prosperity. He also said that Tamilnadu is one of the pioneering states in the Country. AIR correspondent reports Mr. Barnala has served the State for seven years and in 1990 he served for nine months.
