Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Kerala has been admitted to a private hospital at Thiruvananthapuram with severe respiratory problems this morning. The doctors attending on him has described his condition as critical. Ninety-one year old Karunakaran was placed on ventilators. Hospital sources said that he is slowly responding to medicines at present.<br/>
