The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI, has announced a reward of one lakh rupees each to a person who provides information on three absconding accused in the Gyaneshwari train derailment case.<br/><br/>The accident killed over 140 people and left several others injured. CBI spokesperson, Harsh Bhal told All India Radio that the accused have been identified as Umakant Mahto, Manoj and Asit Mahto. Their posters were release today and will be displayed at prominent places for seeking information about the absconding accused. <br/><br/>The investigating agency has given telephone numbers on which information can be given round the clock. The information can also be faxed at 033-23348713 and emailed at :hobsckol@cbi.gov.in <mailto:hobsckol@cbi.gov.in> or sent to Special Crime Branch, CGO Complex, A-wing,DF Block, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 64.<br/><br/>The agency has also constituted a Joint Investigation Team, JIT, to look into the professional investigation of the accident on 28th of last month. The investigation involves close coordination and cooperation between several organizations, agencies and individuals. <br/><br/>The JIT will comprise the officers from CBI, State Police, Railway Protection Force, Railway Board and Forensic Experts for carrying out the investigation in a time bound manner.
