Indian pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwni Ponappa has lifted the women's doubles title of the Canada Open Badminton tournament.In the finals played at Calgary this early morning, third seeded Indian duo ousted top Dutch pair of Eefje Muskens and Selena Piek in straight games of 21-19, 21-16. This was their first title of this season.Among other Indians in the tournament, B Sai Praneeth and Ajay Jayaram had bowed out of quarterfinals in the men's singles event. While the other women's doubles pair of Pradnya Gadre and N Sikki Reddy had exited at last 8 stage.
