Jharkhand Vikas Morcha Chief Mr. Babulal Marandi and five of his supporters were released in Giridih today. They were taken into custody yesterday late night due to security reasons. Mr Marandi was sitting on a dharna against mining of mica in the district, which turned violent.<br/><br/>Meanwhile the District Forest Officer Mr. Akhilesh Sharma, who had ordered stoppage on digging mica, has been transferred to Ranchi.
