Justice T. S. Thakur has been appointed as the new Chief Justice of India.The senior-most judge of the apex court, Justice Thakur will take over from Chief Justice H L Dattu who retires on 2nd of next month.Justice Thakur headed the bench which had delivered the verdict on reforming the BCCI in the wake of the IPL betting and spot-fixing scandal.
