Calcutta High Court Judge Justice Soumitra Sen on Saturday handed over his hand written resignation letter to the President Secretariat in New Delhi. Official sources said that Justice Sen's Lawyer handed over the letter to President's Secretary, Christy Fernandez on behalf of Justice Sen.

Earlier, Justice Sen had sent his resignation letter through fax to the President Secretariat. Justice Sen's Lawyer said that he has requested the President to accept his resignation.
