Justice Ritu Bahri took oath as the first women Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court today. The oath of office was administered by Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd). With this appointment, Justice Ritu Bahri has become the first woman to hold the position of Chief Justice in the history of Uttarakhand High Court. Previously, she served as a senior judge in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, and Chief Secretary Radha Raturi were present among other dignitaries. <br />
