Justice Madan Bhimarao Lokur was sworn-in as the new Chief Justice of the Guwahati High Court on Thursday. <br/><br/>Assam Governor Mr. Janaki Ballav Patnaik administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new Chief Justice at a swearing-in ceremony held at the Durbar Hall of the Raj Bahwan in Guwahati. <br/><br/>Chief Minister Mr. Tarun Gogoi, his ministerial colleagues, Judges of the High Court, the chief secretary, the Director General of Police besides other dignitaries were present at the function. Justice Lokur was a judge in Delhi High Court before the new appointment.
