Mr. Justice Paul Daniel Dinakaran Prem Kumar assumed his office as the Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court on Monday. He was administered the Oath of office by the Governor Mr. B P Singh at a solemn function at Raj Bhawan in Gangtok on Monday morning. The Bar Association of Sikkim and the High Court of Sikkim Bar Association boycotted the swearing in function as a mark of protest.Later, replying to queries by the Reporters, Mr. Justice Dinakaran said that his priority will be to serve the Sikkimese people as well as to ensure delivery of justice to all without any fear or favour.Dinakaran is facing charges of alleged corruption and has been transferred to the state from Karnataka following the allegations.
