Justice Dalveer Bhandari, Member, International Court of Justice today addressed a meeting of National Human Right Commission and State Human Right Commissions in New Delhi. <br/><br/>Justice Bhandari said that NHRC and SHRCs are doing well but a lot has to be done in the field of administration of human rights protection. He suggested that Chairmen of the State Human Right Commissions and Chief Minister of the respective states should meet regularly for better administration of human rights protection. He stressed for more awareness among masses on human rights and its violations.<br/><br/>Justice H L Dattu, Chairman of NHRC said, the Commission has been receiving more and more complaints on variety of issues which shows people's faith in the Commission. He said, NHRC and SHRC can do even more provided sufficient funds are made available and financial autonomy be granted.
