Justice C S Karnan of the Calcutta High Court today declined to undergo a medical examination by a four-member medical team from a government hospital in Kolkata.<br/><br/>He said he is quite normal and has a stable mind. He also gave his refusal in writing to the doctors. Justice Karnan told the doctors that for holding such a medical examination, guardian's consent is required. And since his family members are not in the city, there is no such consent. So any medical test cannot be held.<br/><br/>The Supreme Court had on the 1st of this month ordered his medical examination by a board of doctors from a Kolkata government hospital. The court had also directed the West Bengal director general of police to assist the medical board in carrying out the medical examination of the judge.
