India's Yashaswini Singh Deswal today won a gold at the women's 10 metre air pistol event in the ISSF Junior World Championship Rifle/Pistol competition. In the event being held in Suhl, Germany, her medal consolidated India's second position in the medals tally at the end of Day Two, with two gold, one silver and one bronze. China top the standings till now. Earlier in the day, India had won a team bronze in the men's 10 metre pistol event.
