The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, CBIC said that tomorrow is the last date for payment of dues under Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019. CBIC informed that one lakh 90 thousand declarations amounting to 90 thousand crore rupees were filled under the scheme and discharge certificates have been issued to one lakh 15 thousand eligible declarants. It said, the benefit of this scheme will not be available after the 30th June.

The main objective of the scheme is to free the large number of small taxpayers of their pending disputes with the tax administration.
