Assange appeared at a UK Court by video link from London's Belmarsh Prison. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Assange is serving a 50-week sentence for skipping bail in 2012 and taking refuge in the embassy of Ecuador. The 47-year-old Australian was sentenced to jail by a UK court yesterday. </span>
